The rise of women in leadership roles has made the world a better place, and we’re proud to put that front and center at aha insurance.
A quick recap for those not in the know—the data is in:
- Closing the gender inequality gap in the workplace could benefit Canada’s economy with another $150-$420 billion (yes, billion) by 2026.
- Women comprise 37% of leaders in high-performing companies, compared to 19% of low-performing companies. It’s not a coincidence.
Not that we needed think tanks to tell us it was a good idea, but it’s nice to see the rest of the business world getting on board.
Recognizing the women that make our world go ‘round
Creating startups isn’t easy. The women in our leadership team have gone above and beyond the call of duty to foster a positive, high-achieving culture and a company that runs smoothly.
We have to say, we’ve noticed the difference—so this is our public kudos to the women who make aha insurance what is.
Ann has brought decades of experience to make the brokers a team of cutting-edge, professionally trained consultants that always do what’s right for our customers.
Tanya has led the charge on turning the insurance industry’s marketing on its head, winning Ontario’s hearts and minds in a province where people are practically raised to be suspicious of the industry.
Tracy has overseen development of our industry-leading technology that makes fast, easy quoting the new norm. It’s the real deal.
aha insurance wouldn’t be the same without these women, and that doesn’t stop at the executive level. Our broker and support teams are among the most professional people we’ve met in the industry, too. They drive our whole team forward in their own way. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Making the insurance industry less insurancey
The majority of aha insurance’s team is comprised of women, and the results speak for themselves: over 140 Google reviews with a 4.7-star rating seems pretty darn good to us.
We’re incredibly proud of that achievement and the women who make it possible, including:
- Kristen
- Chrystal
- Ashley
- Rachel
- Andria
- Shannon
- Jessica
- Jacquelyn
- Katie
- Judy
- Christine
- Ruth
- Kenzie
- Bridget
- Trisha
Those are the names of people leading the charge for a new insurance industry built on transparency. Women have defined our message, our technology, and our character as an organization—all for the better.
And it doesn’t stop there.
As we look back on the several years since launching in late 2018, we’re both grateful and humbled at the opportunity to work with these insurance super stars. They haven’t just thrived in this business world—they’ve empowered themselves and everyone around them to make the dream work.
And that’s something we should all support.
Happy International Women’s Day from the team at aha insurance. We appreciate all that you do!
